I think I've gone as far as I can on the bottom grasses. They are looking fairly three-dimensional. I've also spent time darkening some of the green leaves, especially around the Jack-in-the-Pulpit so that it has a more sculptured look. I am happy with the white trillium. Darkening the green reflections around it really helped to make it stand out. I still need to do some work around it's throat. Looking a little flat there still.
It's interesting how each water droplet is a different shape and shade of grey or blue grey. They are coming along nicely.
The leaf behind the seed head needs work. It's looking a little flat still..... and a bit to machine-made.
Overall, this has been a fun painting to spend time with. I've listened to a lot of great podcasts while I've painted.
